Kaja Kallas urges China to cease all material support for Russia in EU-China Strategic Dialogue

With the EU-China summit just a few weeks away, the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, met with the Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, as part of the 13th EU-China Strategic Dialogue on Wednesday 2 July.

As she had indicated before the discussions (see EUROPE B13672A18), Ms Kallas emphasised the “serious threat” to European security posed by Chinese companies’ support for Russia’s illegal war in Ukraine.
