Opening of first chapters of EU accession negotiations - European Commission is against decoupling of Ukraine and Moldova

01/07/25 (Agence Europe) – Asked about Hungary’s blocking of the opening of the first cluster of chapters in Ukraine’s EU accession negotiations (see EUROPE B13668A5), European Commission spokesman Guillaume Mercier said on Tuesday 1 July that the Commission did not want Ukraine and Moldova to be decoupled from the accession process.
