02/06/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 2 June, NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) launched ten new challenges aimed at identifying the next generation of deep, dual-use technologies. They cover energy and power (1), advanced communication technologies (2), contested electromagnetic environments (3), human resilience and biotechnologies (4), logistics and critical infrastructures (5), operations in extreme environments (6), maritime operations (7), resilient space operations (8), autonomy and unmanned systems (9) and data-assisted decision support (10). Proposals must be submitted before 12 noon UTC on 11 July. The selected innovators will join phase 1 of the DIANA programme, take part in a six-month acceleration programme starting in January 2026 and have access to a network of more than 180 test centres. They will receive contractual funding of €100,000. (CG)
