In its conclusions, Polish Presidency of EU Council makes a more cautious reference to Russian fossil fuel phase-out plan

On Thursday 22 May, the EU Council’s energy experts will discuss the second revision of the conclusions of the Polish Presidency of the EU Council, dated 20 May and obtained by Agence Europe.

This second version no longer “welcomes”, but merely “takes note” of the Commission’s Communication of 6 May on the ‘roadmap’ for phasing-out Russian energy imports (see EUROPE B13634A1).
