European Disability Forum publishes a guide to support transposing directive on combating gender-based and domestic violence

On Tuesday 20 May, the European Disability Forum (EDF) published a set of guidelines to accompany transposing the 2024 European directive on combating violence against women and domestic violence (see EUROPE B13344A24). 

To come into force, the directive must be transposed into the national legislation of the 27 EU Member States by 14 June 2027.

EDF calls on associations for people with disabilities to ensure that the rights of women and girls with disabilities are taken into account...
