EU welcomes Turkish Finance Minister for first high-level economic meeting since 2019

The ‘High-Level Economic Dialogue’ between the European Union and Turkey was held in Brussels on Thursday 3 April, co-chaired by Commissioners Valdis Dombrovskis and Marta Kos, and by Mehmet Şimşek, the Minister of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Turkey.

This ‘Dialogue’, the first since 2019, aims to strengthen economic and financial relations between the EU and Turkey and is part of a wider effort to enhance cooperation between the two parties, in line with the call made...
