European Parliament once again calls on Lukashenka regime to cease repression

Brussels, 03/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 3 April, the European Parliament demanded that Alexander Lukashenka’s regime immediately cease its repression, which is now also targeting Belarusians abroad, and that it release all political prisoners. In the resolution adopted (535 votes in favour, 19 against and 55 abstentions), MEPs call for EU-wide legal support and protection for exiled Belarusians.
