Baltic States call for remaining aspects of synchronisation project to be implemented “for completion of our Energy Union”

In an information note from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to be presented at the Energy Council on 17 March, the three countries welcome their networks’ successful synchronisation with the continental European network on 9 February (see EUROPE B13576A7).

The document states that “consumers were not affected during the frequency stability tests or when synchronous operation with the continental European grid started”.
