European Board on Agriculture and Food debated European Commission’s future ‘vision’

The first meeting of the European Board on Agriculture and Food (EBAF), held in Brussels on Tuesday 4 February, focused on the future ‘vision’ for agriculture being prepared by the European Commission.

The first meeting of this High Level Group (see EUROPE B13539A13) was chaired by the Commissioner for Agriculture Christophe Hansen.

The members welcomed the creation of the EBAF and pledged to bring the expertise of the entire agri-food chain to bear on the future of the sector.
