21/10/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 21 October, the European Commission announced the creation of the Trusted Investors Network, which will bring together investors prepared to co-invest in innovative ‘deep-tech’ companies backed by the European Innovation Council (EIC). To date, 71 investors have responded to the call, managing a total of more than €90 billion in financial assets, including private equity funds, public development banks and foundations. By signing a dedicated charter, participants undertake to promote entrepreneurship in the European Union and to co-invest in partnership with the EIC Fund. The latter has invested nearly €1 billion in 250 promising European start-ups and attracted more than €4 billion in private investment. Further information: https://aeur.eu/f/dyr (MB)
