EU Council adopts position on additional procedural rules for application of GDPR

On Thursday 13 June, the Council of the EU adopted its position on the regulation establishing additional procedural rules for the application of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), specifically in cases of cross-border cooperation.

This regulation is intended to specify the roadmap to be followed when a data protection issue requires cross-border handling. This is the case, for example, when the complainant resides in a Member State that is different from that of the company...
