EU adopts €9 million ‘European Peace Facility’ to support Moldovan air defence capabilities

13/06/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 13 June, the EU Council adopted a €9 billion ‘European Peace Facility’ (EPF) assistance measure for the Republic of Moldova’s armed forces to modernise the country’s air defence capabilities. The aid will fund short-range interceptors for air defence systems.
