EU Council gives green light to one-year extension of temporary protection for Ukrainian refugees in EU

13/06/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 13 June in Luxembourg, the ministers and ministerial representatives of the EU27 gave the go-ahead for a one year extension of the temporary protection that has been granted to 4.2 million Ukrainian refugees in the European Union (see EUROPE B13429A18).
