European Commission registers new Croatian agricultural name

03/04/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 3 April, the European Commission announced that it had accepted the application for protection of the Croatian horseradish ‘Ludbreški hren’ in the European Union register of Protected Designations of Origin (PDO). The name ‘Ludbreški hren’ refers to the unprocessed root of the horseradish variety of the same name.
