28/03/24 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 27 March, the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Foundation published the IFRS Accounting Taxonomy 2024, which enables digital reporting of financial information prepared in accordance with IFRS Accounting Standards. Companies can use the IFRS Accounting Taxonomy to identify information, making it easily accessible to investors who prefer to receive financial information in a digital form. It is based on IFRS Accounting Standards as at 1 January 2024, including standards published but not yet in force. It includes some changes compared with 2023, to reflect new or modified requirements, particularly with regard to Pillar Two of the International Tax Reform (see EUROPE 13262/16) and Supplier Finance Arrangements.
