MEPs call for an assessment of rules governing virtual worlds and, “if necessary”, their revision

At their plenary session on Wednesday 17 January, MEPs adopted the own-initiative report by Pablo Arias Echeverría (EPP, Spanish) on the opportunities, risks and policy implications of virtual worlds for the single market (484 votes in favour, 45 against, 98 abstentions) (see EUROPE B13280A13).
