EU27 invited to approve a frugal revision of Multiannual Financial Framework

As EU leaders meet in Brussels on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 December, there was still uncertainty on Wednesday 13 December as to whether the EU27 would be able to unanimously approve the mid-term revision of the 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF), with Hungary continuing to link the issue politically to a decision on the opening of EU accession negotiations with Ukraine (see EUROPE B13313A1).
