13/12/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 12 December, the European Commission published the model report on consumer profiling techniques and the independent audit of these reports, in accordance with the provisions of the Digital Markets Act (DMA) (see EUROPE 13294/10). The first reports are due from the gatekeepers - appointed on 5 September (see EUROPE 13244/3) - on 7 March. In particular, these reports will have to describe, in a “detailed and transparent” manner, all the relevant information on all the techniques used for consumer profiling applied to or through all the basic platform services offered by the gatekeepers.
