Economic agreement with Nairobi ratified by EU Council

12/12/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 12 December, the Council of the European Union officially validated the Economic Partnership Agreement with Nairobi, 2 months after it was notified by the Commission. The agreement was made official in June, and is designed to give Kenyan exporters easier access to the European market by abolishing tariffs and quotas.
