As part of the first Disability Rights Week, organised at the European Parliament from 27 November to 4 December, the issues surrounding accessibility for people with disabilities in transport and tourism were addressed by the dedicated committee, which held in-depth discussions, notably on the ‘European Disability Card’ proposed by the European Commission in September (see EUROPE B13244A1).
