EU mobilises €3.5 million in emergency aid for Horn of Africa flooding

30/11/23 (Agence Europe) – The EU is mobilising €3.5 million in humanitarian aid for the victims of the devastating floods in the Horn of Africa, the European Commission announced on Wednesday 29 November. €2.5 million has been allocated to support the people most affected along the Juba River basin in Somalia, a country that will also benefit from the deployment of helicopters to hard-to-reach areas from December (for two months), via the European Humanitarian Response Capacity....
