Open Strategic Autonomy, combating medicine shortages is a priority for EU Member States

The European health ministers stressed, on Thursday 30 November in Brussels, the need to combat medicine shortages, during a debate on Europe’s Open Strategic Autonomy.

The measures proposed in this area by the European Commission have been supported by the Member States, notably the recent Communication on combating medicine shortages in Europe and the European list of critical medicines, soon to be available.
