Four candidates to represent European environmentalists in June 2024

On Thursday 30 November, the European Green Party (‘EGP’) revealed the names of the four people it hopes will represent the European green family at the European elections in June 2024.

The candidates are (in alphabetical order): - Dutchman Bas Eickhout, currently an MEP, nominated by the GroenLinks party; - the Latvian Elīna Pinto, who was a candidate in the Latvian presidential elections, nominated by Progresīvie; - the German Terry Reintke, currently co-president of the Greens/EFA...
