28/09/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 28 September, the European Union published an implementing regulation repealing the anti-dumping duties imposed on imports of biodiesel originating in Argentina and Indonesia and granting full reimbursement of these duties. These were introduced by the EU in 2013, only to be deemed inadequate and annulled by the EU General Court and the World Trade Organization's Dispute Settlement Body. However, the Commission refused to reimburse companies and industries that had not lodged an appeal. This latest regulation, dated 28 September, definitively validates the abolition of these fees and the full reimbursement of all those that have been paid. (IS)
