European publishers call for a Media Freedom Act that “lives up to its name

The “Media Freedom Act” (EMFA) continues to attract criticism (see EUROPE B13207A28). In an open letter published on Tuesday 27 June and gathering 400 signatures, the European Magazine Media Association (EMMA) and the European Newspaper Publishers’ Association (ENPA) call on the co-legislators to agree on a text that “lives up to its name”.
