Three online travel agencies in Europe commit to reimbursing travellers after 14 days if flights are cancelled

On Tuesday 27 June, the European Commission announced that three online travel agencies operating in Europe – Edreams ODIGEO, Etraveli Group andKiwi.com – had undertaken to provide consumers with more information about their rights in the event of flight cancellations by airlines.

Airlines that cancel a flight must, under European rules on passenger rights and when the passenger has chosen the refund option, reimburse the passenger’s air tickets within 7 days.
