EIT’s Food Knowledge and Innovation Community selects 63 European start-ups for entrepreneurship programmes

07/06/2023 (Agence Europe) – The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) announced on Tuesday 6 June that its Knowledge and Innovation Community (KIC) dedicated to food, EIT Food, had selected 63 start-ups for its two entrepreneurship programmes for 2023: the EIT Food Accelerator Network (FAN) and RisingFoodStars to transform the way food is produced, distributed and consumed. EIT Food is the world’s largest food innovation community. This KIC is made up of sector experts, research institutes, partner companies and investors. The companies, selected from over 1,000 applicants from across Europe, will benefit from high-level mentoring, leadership development and technological validation to accelerate their growth, impact and market readiness.
