Brussels, 07/06/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 7 June, Marija Pejčinović Burić, Secretary General of the Council of Europe, and Kairat Abdrakhmanov, OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, officially launched a joint web resource entitled “Collection of Council of Europe and OSCE National Minority Standards”. “In the current challenging geopolitical context developing closer ties between our two institutions has become even more important than ever before”, they said, pointing out that this announcement was part of a “long-standing and strong cooperation” between these institutions, which “serve the same goal” while “using different tools”. This “Collection” has been set up in a dedicated section of the Council of Europe website for civil society players, national authorities, the media and the general public.
