Asset freeze, war in Ukraine and fundamental rights on table of EU justice ministers

After dealing with home affairs (see other news), the EU27 justice ministers will discuss, on Friday 10 March, the justice component of the EU ‘Justice and Home Affairs’ Council (JHA).

Asset freeze and confiscation

The ministers will discuss the proposed directive on the freeze and confiscation of assets of criminal and terrorist groups, as well as of Russian oligarchs who violate EU sanctions.
