On Thursday 9 March, the European Innovation Council (EIC) announced the launch of a call for partners to provide EIC beneficiaries with services to expand their small and medium-sized enterprises into international markets, especially key global markets. According to the EIC, despite the challenges and uncertainties arising from the Covid-19 pandemic, only 5% of EIC beneficiary companies say that they do not intend to expand their activities to access new markets. The EIC would like future partners to help EIC beneficiaries find solutions to challenges identified during their internationalisation: overcoming the need for high financial investment necessary for expansion, reaching out to customers in the target country, or identifying business partners. The call is open until 20 March. Link to the call: https://aeur.eu/f/5pz (EV)
