06/03/2023 (Agence Europe) – The spokesperson for the European External Action Service deplored, on Monday 6 March, the “outbreak of violence on the Karabakh Line of Contact, which left at least five people dead in a gun battle. They were three Armenian policemen and two Azerbaijani soldiers. “The circumstances surrounding this deadly incident need to be fully investigated”, the spokesperson said in a statement. The spokesperson urged all stakeholders to show restraint in order to prevent any further actions which could further undermine regional stability and threaten the peace process. (CG)
