Anti-dumping duties on Chinese and Egyptian woven glass fibre fabrics extended to Turkey

08/09/2022 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission has decided to extend the anti-dumping duties on certain woven and/or sewn glass fibre fabrics from China and Egypt to Turkish imports. At the end of 2021, the association of glass fibre fabric producers TECH-FAB Europe e.V. had lodged a request for review with the Commission because of potential circumvention of existing anti-dumping duties. After investigation, the Commission found that circumvention was taking place by routing the products through Turkey. It also extended its countervailing duty on these products.
