29/06/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 29 June the Ambassadors of the Member States to the European Union (Coreper I) validated the provisional political agreement reached with the European Parliament on the proposed Regulation on serious cross-border threats to health (see EUROPE 12981/35). This regulation aims to strengthen the EU’s preparedness and resilience to health threats. The next steps in the Parliament will be the validation of the agreement in the parliamentary committee on 12 July, followed by a vote in the plenary session, before the formal adoption of the legislative text by the Council.
