01/02/2022 (Agence Europe) – By launching the EU-Kenya Strategic Dialogue on 28 January in Nairobi, the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, and the Kenyan Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Raychelle Omamo, officially kicked off a future strengthening of the partnership between the EU and this Horn of Africa country at the bilateral and multilateral level (see EUROPE 12879/11). On this occasion, the two interlocutors signed a joint declaration setting out the main priorities of the Strategic Dialogue, which are structured around three pillars: - peace, security and stability; - sustainable and inclusive development and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); - economy, trade and investment.
