21/06/2021 (Agence Europe) – On 21 June in Krakow, Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister for Development, Jarosław Gowin, stated his country’s support for the introduction of a “minimum tax, which has been so strongly supported by the French government”, outside of the meeting of finance ministers of the Visegrád countries, which was attended by French minister Bruno Le Maire. Taxes should be paid “in a proper manner in those countries where the groups in question operate”, he insisted. Le Maire, who is touring Europe to convince reluctant EU countries to join in with the momentum of the G7 summit on international tax reform (see EUROPE 12740/12), welcomed the “decisive” support on this issue.
