Negotiators from the European Parliament, the Council of the EU and the European Commission finalised, on Friday 28 May, the agreement on a set of basic rules aimed at ensuring a smooth transition between the current Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and the next one, which will enter into force at the beginning of 2022.
