13/07/2020 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission is continuing to consult on the future pharmaceutical strategy for the EU. While the consultation is open until 15 September 2020, the institution is organising a stakeholder conference on 14 and 15 July to help it reflect on the situation. Despite approaching them three weeks ago (on 22 June), EUROPE was told that its virtual participation had been refused on the grounds that a “balanced selection” of participants had been made. As far as we know, no other journalists are registered there. Several sessions are on the agenda, including sessions looking at the roadmap, access and incentives for innovation, product availability and affordability of medicines.
