European Parliament Civil Liberties Committee concerned about EU's passivity in defending LGBTI+ rights

Invited to exchange views with MEPs on Parliament's Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) on Thursday 11 June, EU Equality Commissioner Helena Dalli was again urged to take concrete steps to combat discrimination against LGBTI+ citizens in the EU.

In particular, several groups expressed their deep concern about recent events in Poland and Hungary to Ms Dalli.
