European Parliament committee wants to protect fishermen from 'Biodiversity' strategy

In an exchange of views with the European Commissioner for Environment and Fisheries, Virginijus Sinkevičius, on Thursday 11 June, MEPs on the European Parliament's Committee on Fisheries regretted that the ‘Biodiversity 2030’ strategy makes fishermen the main culprits in the degradation of the oceans.
