Invited to address the Conference of Presidents of the European Parliament's Political Groups (CoP) (see EUROPE B12326A4) by President David Sassoli, the President-elect of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, heard and tried to respond to requests for clarification on the portfolios allocated to the 26 Commissioners-designate on Thursday 19 September in Strasbourg.
