Livestock sector in five EU countries calls for rejection of free trade agreement with Mercosur

On Monday 8 July, the European livestock sector, represented by Assocarni (Italy), Assoprovac (Spain), Irish Farmers' Association (Ireland), Interbev (France) and PZPBM (Poland), hit out at the draft free trade agreement between the EU and the Mercosur countries (see EUROPE B12286A3 B12288A21). It calls on Members of the European Parliament and EU Member States to "reject the agreement".
