Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council. *Energy: - General approach on tyre labelling. - Debate on the energy-related aspects of the Commission's communication "A clean planet for all". - Progress on the Gas Directive (extension of EU rules to gas pipelines to and from third countries) and on the Connecting Europe Facility (funding for the development of interconnected trans-European networks in transport, energy and digital services). - Progress on the Connecting Europe Facility for the next multiannual financial framework 2021-2027.
Brussels. European Parliament. Commission activities (through 07/03). - IMCO: vote on the legislative proposal to prevent the dissemination of terrorist content online. - AFET-DEVE: vote on the report on the Instrument for Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation. - CONT: vote on the report on OLAF's investigations into cooperation with the European Public Prosecutor's Office; examination of the Court of Auditors' special report assessing the performance of the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI); examination of discrepancies between public procurement data and major infrastructure financed by the EU. - JURI: discussion with Commission representatives on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the EU and European rules on civil justice and private international law; vote on a petition concerning the Commission's discretionary powers in the application of EU legislation by Member States; vote on a report on the use of digital tools and processes in particular in company law.

'Environment' Council. - Long-term strategy for a carbon-neutral economy: general debate on the Commission's communication “A clean planet for all”. - Recast of the Drinking Water Directive: general approach on updating the Directive to ensure safe and accessible tap water for all. - Endocrine disrupters: policy debate on the EU framework in this area. - Greening of the "European Semester". - Exchange of views on the Global Environment Pact. - Other information: - Information on a global system for collecting data on fuel consumption in maritime transport and on the phasing out of hydrofluorcarbons in the EU. - Environmental protection policies to combat the depopulation of rural areas (Spain). - Combating greenhouse gas emissions through air pricing (Belgium). - Implementation of the Paris Agreement (France, Spain and Luxembourg). - Preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Barcelona Convention (Italy). - Update on the results of the Espoo Convention (Commission and Council Presidency)
