The spontaneous combustion of a vehicle parked in a private place intended for this purpose, such as the garage of a house, falls under the notion of "use of vehicles", irrespective of the time interval between the accident and the last use of the vehicle, Advocate General Yves Bot stated in his Opinion delivered on Thursday 28 February (Case C-100/18).
