Romania wants to put Black Sea back on European agenda

During the presentation of the priorities of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the EU, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Teodor Meleșcanu, pleaded on Tuesday 22 January to put the Black Sea back at the heart of the European agenda. 

“As a strategically important issue for Romania, putting the Black Sea back on the EU agenda will be a priority for the Presidency”, he told MEPs in the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee.
