30/07/2018 (Agence Europe) – Half of all British voters (50%) are in favour of a referendum to decide between leaving with whatever agreement the government concludes with the EU, leave without a deal or stay in the EU, according to a Sky News survey quoted by Reuters on Monday 30 July. 40% said that they did not want a new vote. With less than eight months to go until Brexit takes effect, the survey also reports that 78% of respondents consider that the May government is negotiating poorly with Brussels, up 23% on March. Just 10% feel that the government is doing a good job of negotiations. May's popularity rating has fallen to 24%, according to the survey. In answer to the question of whether Brexit would be good or bad for the country, 40% said that it would be good and 51% bad. (SP)
