26 member states to participate in 'citizens consultations on Europe' initiated by Emmanuel Macron

All the member states of the European Union, with the exception of the United Kingdom and Hungary, have responded to the appeal from French President Emmanuel Macron to improve the involvement of citizens in the reflection on the future of the European project (see EUROPE 11967).

In France, the modalities for these consultations were explained on Wednesday 14 March by the French government.  Macron will give the green light for this initiative by taking part in the first consultation...
