Gulf of Piran – Ljubljana seeks Commission's opinion before potentially going to Court of Justice

On Friday 16 March, Slovenia asked the European Commission for advice pursuant to Article 259 of the TFEU, concerning its border dispute with Croatia (see EUROPE 11935).

“We received the letter this morning and will look into it”, said Alexander Winterstein, Commission spokesperson.
