25/03/2015 (Agence Europe) - Schulz welcomes progress made by Montenegro. On Tuesday 24 March, the President of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, described Montenegro as a “driver of stability”. Following a meeting with the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Ranko Krivokapic, Schulz said that he was impressed by the political, economic and social developments of a country which is “going in the right direction”. “Montenegro has made much progress”, he added. However, Schulz went on to stress that the country needed greater stability and security. Krivokapic said that 2015 was “a decisive period for Montenegro in its Euro-Atlantic integration”. (CG)
