25/03/2015 (Agence Europe) - Ministerial meeting on transport in Central Europe. On 26 March the European Commissioner for Transport, Violeta Bulc and her fellow Commissioner responsible for energy, Maros Sefcovic, will be in Slovakia. They will be meeting transport ministers from five Central European countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Austria) to discuss interconnections in this region, as well as the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI). Participants will sign a Memorandum of Cooperation on infrastructure development. Austria and Slovakia will make a commitment, in a separate declaration, to improve transport between their two countries. (JC)
