Brussels, 22/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is planning to publish a report on 24 November 2009 on changing the EU budget and Europe in general. A somewhat provocative early version of the report suggests that most EU spending should go to three key areas (namely, sustainable growth and jobs; energy and tackling climate change; and Europe in the world) and funding should be hived off from farming and the cohesion policy to the benefit of the three priority areas.
